What is OneOpinion?

Founded in 2011 by Hugh Davis and Keith Price, OneOpinion conducts surveys on behalf of businesses, governments and other organizations that want to know how people view their products and services. Gathering consumer data helps businesses decide what products to produce and what regions are most applicable. Through its vast network, OneOpinion members have answered hundreds of thousands of online surveys that continue to help many well-known companies improve their brands.

With a commitment to customer service, OneOpinion also offers 24/7 support through telephone, email and contact through Facebook.

How Does The Survey Process Work?

Upon completing your registration and becoming an official member of the OneOpinion panel, the company sends invitation emails asking you to participate in surveys that fit your demographic. Within each email, the company explains exactly what is needed, how much time it will take to complete the survey and how many points you will earn. In return, OneOpinion expects you to answer the questions thoughtfully and honestly – a process that creates a win-win situation for both parties.

Keep in mind though, you won’t qualify for every survey – even if you receive an invite. However, if it turns out you’re ineligible, OneOpinion still credits 50 points to your rewards account. Due to increased popularity of the service as well, surveys can close before you’re able to participate. The main point? You need to be quick.

Once you complete a survey, OneOpinion loads between 1,000 and 5,000 points into your rewards account – which translates into $1.00 to $5.00 in actual cash. Once you accumulate 25,000 points – the minimum required for withdrawal – you simply head to your “Rewards Center” and follow the outlined steps to cash out. There you’re able to choose between a physical or virtual Visa gift card, Amazon gift card or receive a cash payment through PayPal.

Who Is Eligible To Participate?

Currently, OneOpinion is only available to users in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Spain, Germany, Italy, France, Netherlands and Australia. Registration is completely free and accounts are limited to one per person. However, each member of your household is eligible to open a OneOpinion Account.

How Many Surveys Can I Take Per Day?

With OneOpinion, the number varies. However, if you fail to qualify for a given survey, OneOpinion still credits 50 points your account.

Some users have complained that OneOpinion will limit you to 5 to 8 surveys per day – which includes disqualifications. However, this may have been a glitch in the system because other members haven’t had the same issue. Considering new surveys are added to the site each day, finding a few in your wheelhouse shouldn’t be a problem.

How Will I Receive My Points?

With OneOpinion, points are credited to your account instantly. When a survey is completed, points load automatically and the platform allows you to check your balance anytime by logging in and assessing the ‘Summary of Points’ section. When you click on the ‘Go To Rewards Center’ tab, you’ll find a ledger that has information on all of the surveys you’ve completed – including the survey name, date, points earned and the rewards available for withdrawal.

What Happens To My Points If I Stop Participating In Surveys?

Always be aware that points expire within 12-months. And, if there is no activity in your account for 90 days, OneOpinion sets your account status as ‘inactive.’ If there is still no activity for another 90 days, your account is closed and you forfeit all of the points in your account.

What Are Current Members Saying About OneOpinion?

Across the web, most members have had a positive experience. The survey and payment process is extremely transparent and members often praise OneOpinion’s support staff – claiming they’re quick and efficient when dealing with issues of missing points. As well, members continuously note the platforms ease-of-use and how the survey process is easy to understand and complete. Moreover, they also praise how quickly points are credited to their account. When a survey is complete, there isn’t any hassling to receive points.

One the other hand, some members have complained that after completing several surveys, it becomes more difficult to qualify for new ones. Sometimes it’s a function of less demand for responses from your demographic or increased competition due to OneOpinion’s popularity. Another complaint is lack of activity on the weekend. Members have noticed it’s more difficult to land a survey on Saturday and Sunday versus testing their luck during the week.

The most severe complaint is when surveys disqualify you mid-way through. Sometimes members find themselves near completion of a survey when a message appears stating they ‘no longer qualify.’ Most often this a glitch in the system and OneOpinion has a track record of crediting points to member’s accounts when this happens. So if you find yourself in similar situation, customer support is usually willing to rectify the issue.

How Can I Contact OneOpinion?

Conclusion

When weighing the pros and cons above, we find there is a lot to like about OneOpinion. The company is highly regarded by its members and has a reputation for delivering on its promises. With 24/7 customer support as well as a transparent and easy-to-use survey process, the company provides a great way to make some quick cash in your spare time.

While some of the complaints mentioned also require serious consideration, understanding all of the details beforehand should help you make an informed decision. There are times when surveys will come in more quickly than you can complete them and other times where you won’t qualify for several days. As long as you have realistic expectations about the process and how much money you’ll earn, we think OneOpinion will deliver a great experience.
