What Is Panel Station?

Just like any other survey panel, Panel Station gives you rewards for expressing your opinion in online surveys.

However, what differentiates it from many other panels is that it is an Indian company. It was founded in 2008 by Praveen Gupta and it still owned and operated by him.

The company is also a partner with the Cross-Tab Marketing Service Ltd, which is a marketing research company that uses online surveys to find out people’s opinions in order to improve customer experience and the way products are made.

Panel Station has over 3 million members and their surveys are related to the following topics:

  • Technology
  • Healthcare
  • Finance
  • Travel
  • Consumer goods

Even though Panel Station is an India-based company, it is available to residents of the following countries: India, Thailand, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Australia, Colombia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Chile, Taiwan, South Korea, Poland, Philippines, Turkey, Indonesia, South Africa, Argentina, Mexico, China, Russia and Brazil.

If you live in one these countries, this may very well be the next survey panel you can register with.

Registration

Panel Station is open to people who are at least 16 years old and live in one of the countries we mentioned.

You can register on their website or through a mobile app. Panel Station membership is free, but you will have to provide some basic personal information. After you sign up, you will receive a confirmation email to verify your account.

This email will also be used later by Panel Station to invite you to complete surveys and communicate with you.

How Panel Station Works

You will receive survey invitations based on the information you submitted during your registration process. Surveys should match your interests and demographic profile so that you can give the best possible answers while completing them.

The surveys are varied, both in form and topics. Some will have multiple-choice questions, while some will require you to express your opinion in your own words. Also, you will find surveys in a number of fields like consumer goods, healthcare, information technology, travel and tourism, financial services, and so on.

The average survey lasts from twelve to fifteen minutes and most questions are easy to answer. In general, you can count on up to two survey invitations per week. Note that you may receive a profiler survey, a survey that helps Panel Station to match you with the surveys that best fit your profile.

In addition to surveys, this website offers monthly prize draws for every country. You can get a ticket for the draw by exchanging 300 to 500 points (depending on the region) or taking special surveys for sweepstakes entries. Many draws have more than one winner, and if you are one of the winners, you can get gift vouchers, cash and other awards.

Rewards and Payment

Like most survey panels, Panel Station rewards are based on points. For each survey, you can get from 500 to 5,000 points (equivalent to about Rs. 50-500 or $0.79-$7.86), which depends on the type and length of the survey. For some surveys, you can get sweepstakes prizes instead of rewards points.

If you get screened out of a survey, you will receive 20 points. Also, you will get 300 points for filling out your profile survey.

You will need at least 3,000 points to cash out, which is equivalent to about $5. Once you acquire these points, you can choose how you want to redeem them. Basically, you have two main options: PayPal payment and gift cards. If you opt for gift cards, you can choose from a number of retailers such as Amazon, Rakuten, Jumia, Linio, Flipkart, Submarino, Lazada, etc.

Once you have earned enough points to redeem, you will need to send an email to Panel Station where you should indicate what redeem option you prefer. It usually takes them about two weeks to respond to your email and it will take another four to six weeks for you to receive rewards.

In total, once you have requested your withdrawal, it takes anywhere from six to eight weeks to receive cash payments and rewards.

Mobile App

With Panel Station mobile app, you will be able to keep track of all available opportunities. The app is free and available on Android and Apple devices.

This mobile app will help you get instant alerts for new surveys, offers and redemptions. You can also use it to respond and complete surveys anywhere and anytime using your smartphone.

Moreover, you can manage your account through the app by checking your redemption options, account balance and rewards history. Finally, if there is anything you think could be improved, share your feedback with their customer support through the app.

What We Like

There are some really good things about Panel Station, and you know we are always glad to mention the positive sides of survey panels.

First, it is free to join and available in numerous countries and regions around the globe. Also, the age limit is only sixteen.

Second, there seems to be a steady number of surveys that you can complete. In addition, the surveys cover different topics, so you will never get bored.

Furthermore, you can choose to redeem your rewards through PayPal or gift cards, and a choice is always a good thing. You can also use your points to enter sweepstakes.

Finally, you can use Panel Station mobile app to complete surveys while on the go and thus save time to complete surveys on other panels while at home.

What We Don’t Like

We don’t only emphasize the good side of survey panels. We understand that you need to see both sides in order to have a complete picture and decide if the panel is right for you. That is why we always point out the negative aspects as well.

The first thing that we will mention is the complaints from some Panel Station members about not getting paid or not getting paid on time, as well as about some technical bugs. Now, this panel seems to be legit, but there have been a number of such complaints, so be careful.

Next, payment per survey can be really low, which, coupled with the fact that you can get disqualified from surveys, can be rather discouraging.

Finally, the fact that it may take six to eight weeks to receive payments and other rewards may be enough for you to decide not to register with this panel.

It seems that the pros and cons are pretty even, so it is up to you to make the final decision.

Legit or Scam?

As we said, Panel Station seems to be 100% legit. They don’t ask you to pay for registration, they have more than 3 million members and they don’t ask for any sensitive information that they could later abuse.

However, some complaints from their members are strong proof that there are some problems with this panel.

We wouldn’t call Panel Station a scam, but we certainly advise you to be careful with them.

Final Verdict

What do you think now that you have read the entire review? Do you think you should give a chance to this panel?

One thing is for sure ‒ this is one of the not so many survey panels which are available to panelists around the world. So, if you live in one of the countries where Panel Station is available, we recommend that you register and give it a chance.
