InboxPays Review of October 2024 – Legit or Scam Surveys?

EPF Last Update: March 16, 2023

We have included a great number of online survey panels in our list of Best Paid Survey Sites of October 2024. Some of them are famous, while some are less known.

However, one thing is for sure ‒ we constantly update our list and try to find new legitimate survey panels to help you make more money online.

Another thing we do is write reviews of survey websites. This is a way for us to provide you with facts that can be very useful when you are deciding whether to register with a survey panel or not.

Our reviews contain detailed information about numerous aspects of panels such as how they work, what opportunities they offer, if they are legitimate, who can register with them, etc.

This is another article in the series of our reviews of GPT (get-pad-to) websites. Today, we write about InboxPays.

What Is InboxPays?

InboxPays is a get-paid-to website founded by A&A Marketing Inc. It is located in Houston, Texas.

They promise that you can ‘make lots of cash on a single click’. But is it really like that? We will see that later. For now, let’s talk about how you can sign up for this website.

Actually, it is rather easy to become a member of InboxPays. To register, simply go to their homepage and type your name, email, birthday, zip and gender. Then, verify your email address and you will be directed to a page that will ask you questions, some of which are not that easy to answer. However, this way, they will find out more about you and you will discover how this website works.

It is free to become a member. After approximately 30 minutes of answering questions, you will get a $5 sign-up bonus, which, if you ask us, is a good start for all new members.

One of the drawbacks of this panel is that it accepts only members from the United States. But hey, isn’t this the case with most such websites?

Once you have registered with InboxPays, you can start earning money by reading emails, referring your friends, completing offers and doing many more activities. Then, you just need to cash out and that’s it ‒ you have another regular source of extra income.

How Inbox Pays Works

There are a few ways you can earn money with InboxPays.

  • Read emails

Who likes reading emails? Well, maybe you will start to like this activity if you get paid for it. You can receive a maximum of 3 emails per day, each of which will be paid from 2 cents to 25 cents.

  • Complete cash offers

Unlike some other websites, this one has more paid offers available than surveys. These offers are promotions from InboxPays’ advertising partners, which can be about products or services.

For completing each offer, you can get anywhere from $0.50 to $75. However, the high-paying offers are usually not free to join.

Most of these offers are trial offers, which means they are canceled after a certain period of time. Also, most of these offers will ask for your PayPal or credit card information, which kind of sets off the scam alarm.

  • Surveys

Most surveys on this website pay between $0.50 and $1, while some can get you as much as $5, but this happens very rarely.

Before answering a survey, you need to answer some screening questions. If you answer the questions honestly and correctly, you will be able to go on with completing the survey. InboxPays offers surveys which are quite similar to what other websites in the industry offer.

  • Play games

Now, this can be really fun if your goal is not to earn a lot of money. There is a game called ‘Spin the Wheel’, which gives you an opportunity to win the Jackpot. When you join InboxPays, you get two spins. Also, you will get one spin for completing each cash offer.

Of course, the likelihood of winning the Jackpot is practically non-existent. However, you can hope to win a couple of cents here or there.

  • Refer your friends

If you like earning money by referring your friends, then you will like InboxPays. Each of the friends you referred will make you 10% of the amount they redeem. You don’t have to be a mathematical genius to figure out that you need to refer ten people to earn as much from their activities as you would if you completed offers on your own. Not a bad deal, right?

  • Use coupons

If you want to spare a few cents here and there, use InboxPays coupons. Just print them before shopping for groceries and other everyday items and you will definitely save some money.

Payment

InboxPays processes its payments through the most convenient online platform of its kind – PayPal. Make sure you have a verified U.S. PayPal account. All payments are made on the 1st or 15th of every month.

You will probably be disappointed when you hear that the cashout threshold is $50. Yes, you heard that well. Honestly, we can’t think of many websites in this business that have such a high redeem threshold.

Another thing worth mentioning is that all payments are made in multiples of $50. This means that if your balance is $55, you can withdraw only $50. Similarly, if you have $102.47 in your account, you can withdraw $100. In both cases, the remaining money will stay on your account and wait for your next cashout.

In addition, you must have at least $25 from offers and Spin Wheel credits and a maximum of $25 in Cash Mail credits per payment. If you have more than $25 in Cash Mail credits, the remaining credits will be eligible for future payment requests.

Is InboxPays Legit?

InboxPays is a legit GTP website with a B- rating on BBB.

However, there are certain drawbacks, which we will list in the next section. For example, the registration process and high payout threshold are not something that you will like, but you can’t say that a website is a scam just based on these two factors.

Still, what worries us most is the fact that InboxPays asks for your credit card information before allowing you to complete some of the higher-paying offers. Therefore, you need to be careful when providing such information.

Plus, there have been some customer complaints about this website. With all this in mind, we advise you to be careful with it.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • A lot of opportunities

One of the good things about InboxPays is that you can participate in various activities and earn money. Completing cash offers, answering surveys, reading emails, playing games and referring your friends ‒ all these can be a part of the interesting experience with this website.

  • PayPal payment

PayPal is a great way to get paid, maybe even better than the direct cash payment. Also, InboxPays does not offer gift cards or similar rewards but converts all your credits to money, which is a great thing.

  • Decent BBB rating

This goes under the ‘legit’ checkbox, but we still want to emphasize that this website has a fairly good rating on BBB. In spite of some complaints and the fact that you sometimes have to pay to participate in some offers, the legitimacy of this website should not be your primary concern.

Cons

  • High payout threshold

$50 is everything but an acceptable cashout minimum. Plus, when you take into account how little you can earn per offer, you can easily see that you will need a long time to redeem your rewards.

  • Available only in the US

In spite of the fact that it is so typical of GPT websites to be available only to residents of the United States, we always get a bit disappointed when we find this out. Anyway, if you don’t live in the US, this is not a website for you.

  • You have to pay to earn

There are some high-paying offers that require you to pay in order to participate in them. Even though you can earn as much as $75 for these offers, we think this is not the best practice.

Bottom Line

Both good and bad ‒ that’s the best phrase to describe InboxPays. This website has a number of good features, but when you look beneath the surface, you will see that there is an equal number of drawbacks.

On one hand, you have various money-making opportunities that let you have fun and earn money from your armchair. But on the other hand, when you think of the high payout threshold, low payment per activity and participation fee for high-paying activities, you kind of lose your enthusiasm.

If you ask us, InboxPays should definitely not be your first choice. There are many better get-paid-to websites that you can register with today.

Still, you can treat this website as one the many websites that you occasionally check for new offers. And of course, whatever you do, don’t treat online surveys as a full-time job. They are just a way to earn some extra money while having fun.
