Here’s a quick look at the best paid survey sites. What you can expect from the 10 best survey sites as ranked by the Elite Survey Sites.

It is hard for newcomers especially, because they look at the large old sites as the best ones around. Now everyone thinks paid surveys aren’t worth the time, but the few that know how to make money off of it have nothing to complain about.

Choosing the Best Survey Sites to Join

It’s tough to decide the 10 best paid survey sites for 2017, but not because they are great. Many companies we reviewed at Elite Survey Sites years ago have turned us all.

Now, we are left with only a few survey sites worthy of Elite Survey Sites seal of approval. This makes it hard for new panelists, because there’s no way to really know who to trust. They sign up at old sites like MySurvey and i-Poll expecting great things, only to be let down.

There are opportunities to make $25+ per 30 minute survey and you can make $500+ a month with little commitment. We say this because if you are only signed up to the best survey sites you will get invited to partake in well-paying surveys regularly.

Just join the top 10 sites as listed here and take on survey offers as they come. If you remain active, some of them will even end you focus group offers paying $100+ an hour!

The 10 Best Paid Surveys

After many years of reviewing survey sites, we have watched some of the best turn into some of the worst. Still, quite a few veteran paid survey companies remain on top and there are a couple new-comers that deserve recognition as well.

From recent findings, the Elite Survey Sites team sees the following 10 panels as being the best survey sites to work for this year. If you know of any newer ones that are good to, make sure to comment about your experience!

Here’s our list …

#1 – Swagbucks

Swagbucks Dashboard Screenshot

We forever put Swagbucks in the top-5 list of paid survey sites. They never garnered a whole lot of attention because a lot of the money earned on here comes from other get-paid-to tasks. It’s now 2017, and over 13 million users have earned rewards on here already.

There are always incentivized offers waiting for you in the Swagbucks dashboard. At any given time, you can log in and start earning money.

Every SB is worth about a penny and the majority pay 100 to 400 SBs each, so you make around $1 to $4 per survey.

You can make even more by reading emails, searching the Web, playing games, watching videos, and completing shopping offers.

The Pros: What we really like about Swagbucks:

  • No matter the time of day, there’s always a way to earn. If you stay consistent throughout the month, you’ll have a decent little reward for your hard work.
  • You only have to be 13 years old to join. Most panels require 16 or 18 and up; any teenager could earn extra money on here.
  • They have awarded more than $135 million since opening in 2005.

The Points: How much will you make at Swagbucks?

  • You get paid in SB, and they’re worth about a penny each.
  • Each survey tends to pay between 100 and 400 points.
  • More than 10,000 monthly ‘Swagstakes’ winners.

Elite Survey Site’s verdict:

Swagbucks is definitely a worthwhile website to have in your list of paid survey panels. We all do these surveys to make extra money and Swagbucks gives us the power to do just that. If the surveys are running thin, we can always fall back on the other paid offers to keep earning.

The only downfall is that there is no sign-up bonus for new members.

Overall, Swagbucks is awesome and there are many reports of users making $100 to $500 a month there. This is still true in 2017, even though there were more lucrative earning opportunities when they first opened. The company also pays out responsibly, so it’s a no-fail situation to have an account here!

#2 – Inbox Dollars

Inbox Dollars Paid Survey Site

Inbox Dollars is a lot like Swagbucks, as here you’re also getting paid for reading emails, searching the Web, playing games, completing shopping offers, and doing paid surveys.

This website has been around even longer, starting off in 2000, and it has been used by more than 17 million people thus far. In 2014, they had already awarded over $35 million to their users.

The Pros: What we really like about at Inbox Dollars:

  • There’s a $5 sign up bonus, so even if you don’t become a regular it’s easy to earn your first withdrawal.
  • They have a lot of offers that pay $5 to $50 each. For example, if you sign up for Quibids through Inbox Dollars you’ll earn $15 … so you’ll be cashing out sooner than you realize!
  • There are many draws you can win, such as their 50-cent hourly and their many $10 to $200 daily gift card draws.

The Points: How much will you make at Inbox Dollars?

  • Rewards are denominated in cash value.
  • Each survey tends to pay between 25 cents and $5, with few offering more than that.
  • If you take on their shopping offers and do paid tasks regularly, it’s easy to earn $100 to $300 a month on here.

Elite Survey Site’s verdict:

Inbox Dollars is a decent-paying site that offers many ways to earn. As a company, you can also rest assured knowing your information is safe and payments will get made.

People regularly review Inbox Dollars respectably, claiming that they got a fair shake and payments were promptly made. We’re certain that you will have a good experience both here and at Swagbucks.

Curious how the two differ? Read our ‘Inbox Dollars vs. Swagbucks’ post to find out!

#3 – Fusion Cash

Fusion Cash Paid Survey Site Signup Offers

Fusion Cash is a website that rewards users for completing surveys and doing various other tasks, much like the first two sites on this list. There’s one key difference: their community engages, with over 1 million posts and 450,000+ users thus far!

This site is interesting because they have so many paid survey offers. We don’t just mean you do a survey and they pay you; there are numerous panels you can sign up for through them, and then you get a kick-back of 25 cents to $2 typically for completing the third-party survey.

The Pros: What we really like about Fusion Cash:

  • The paid survey offers are incentive boosters because they pay you a bonus on what you would’ve made already. Pro tip: If you’re new to paid surveys, join this site first and sign up for any paid survey sites through here before looking elsewhere.
  • There are tons of signup offers including many that don’t require a credit card. The ones that do pay more, and if you sign up for a free credit card offer you just have to cancel before a set date to avoid having to pay.
  • You earn $2 when your referred member does ONE offer, which is probably the easiest and most rewarding referral program around.

The Points: How much will you make at Fusion Cash?

  • There’s a $3 monthly ‘forum posting‘ bonus which is easy to earn.
  • Paid signup offers typically reward 25 cents to $25 per.
  • Yo can also earn via paid call, radio, video, and other tasks.

Elite Survey Site’s verdict:

This is a fun site with a few advantages over Swagbucks and Inbox Dollars; it ranks in third because there aren’t quite as many offers here. But there’s still enough to keep you busy and regularly cashing in upwards of $100 a month with ease. It’s definitely worth it to sign up here!

#4 – Toluna

Toluna Paid Survey Site

One of our contributors has a recent Toluna experience they shared with us. It documented the amount of opportunities she had been given to take on paid surveys. She missed out on just over $10 in paid surveys in one week. Many of Toluna’s surveys pay more than $10 each, so some miss out on much more than this!

Furthermore, active Toluna members get focus group invites that pay $50+ for an hour of your time. You will make a good $20 to $30 a week off this site at least if you dedicate yourself to it. This is good money once you bundle it with a few other top survey sites from this list.

The Pros: What we really like about Toluna:

  • They send out anywhere from one to three paid survey invites daily. If you want to be active at doing surveys for cash, this panel will keep you consistent.
  • There are many community engagement tools that will keep you busy. Most of this comes in the form of polls and survey questions that award anywhere from 100 to 500 points per.

The Points: How much will you make at Toluna?

  • New members earn 600 points for signing up and filling out their first profile survey.
  • Each survey tends to pay between 1,000 and 25,000 points.
  • Every 3,000 points is worth $1, so surveys pay between 33 cents and $8.33 each.

Elite Survey Site’s verdict:

Toluna is a well-paying survey site that should be in every regular panelists arsenal. There will be survey offers sent to you every day even if you don’t stay active. So if you want some survey offers to fall back on, it’s well worth it to sign up here.

Get Started with Toluna Today!

#5 – Opinion Outpost

Opinion Outpost Paid Survey Site

Opinion Outpost is a huge survey panel with a lot to offer. As you can see, one of the key features of being active here is having the ability to win in their $10,000 quarterly prize draw. This awards $10,000 to a single user four times a year. If you’re Canadian, Opinion Outpost Canada has a $1,250 quarterly draw with a single winner every three months, and this draw has way less entrant.

It’s not just the huge draw, this survey site is also great because of the high volume of paid surveys that are available. You can truly make $100+ a month on here without hesitation if you stay consistent. But, like many have to do, you’ll be required to submit a W-2 form after $500 is earned.

The Pros: What we really like about Opinion Outpost:

  • Not only is there a chance to win $10,000 four times a year, but every time you do a survey here you’ll get an extra entry which means it’s a good idea to be active here.
  • It’s normal to expect three to five survey invites daily once you get started out.

The Points: How much will you make at Opinion Outpost?

  • It takes 100 points to have $10, so each point is worth 10 cents.
  • The average you get paid is around 50 cents to $5 per survey.
  • If you get disqualified, you still have a shot at their Instant Win game.

Elite Survey Site’s verdict:

Opinion Outpost could be put in spot #1 and few would argue it. This is one of those large sites that has yet to fail us. The company behind them is Survey Sampling International (SSI) which owns Survey Spot and other paid survey sites, and they have been in business since 1977. So Opinion Outpost is incredibly trustworthy, their surveys pay moderately well, and there’s no reason not to bother signing up here.

#6 – Pinecone Research

Pinecone Research Survey Site

Pinecone Research was once our top-recommended survey panel. Now they are a little less active, but they are still just as great. Being a member here, you have a shot at winning more cash in the $4,500 quarterly and $500 bi-weekly draws.

No strings attached, you do a survey and get $3 for completing it. Funds are immediately credited so there’s really no messing around.

The Pros: What we really like about Pinecone Research:

  • There are no withdrawal minimums you just get paid each time you complete a survey. You can request the funds and get them quickly by PayPal, check, merchandise, e-voucher, or gift card.
  • You can expect at least three to five surveys every month, which equates to a minimum of $9 to $15 monthly. The most active panelists earn around $30 to $50 a month.

The Points: How much will you make at Pinecone Research?

  • It’s a new thing, but Pinecone Research works on a points program now. The approximate reward value is one cent per point and withdrawals typically take 3 to 5 business days.
  • Each survey pays $3 and takes 10 to 30 minutes to complete.

Elite Survey Site’s verdict:

Pinecone Research is a legacy paid survey site that you can still rely on to this day. There aren’t quite so many survey offers (you won’t make $100’s monthly here) but their surveys are always easy and they always pay out. It’s well worth having an account here!

#7 – Global Test Market

Global Test Market Paid Survey Site

Global Test Market is an old school panel that hasn’t stopped chugging along. They started out in 1999 and they’re owned by Lightspeed GMI which also owns My Survey (read our review of them) and many other businesses.

In 2014 alone, Global Test Market paid out in excess of $32 million in rewards to their members. This is a significant amount and there are quite a few users who made $1,000’s over the course of the year. But what made this possible is the fact that Global Test Market is an international survey site AND you only have to be 14 years old to join.

The Pros: What we really like about Global Test Market:

  • They are incredibly active, so you can expect multiple survey invites each day.
  • You can complete surveys for sweepstakes entries, and you get one draw entry per screen-out so getting disqualified from a survey won’t be as frustrating here.

The Points: How much will you make at Global Test Market?

  • Your points are worth a little under 5 cents each ($50/1,200 points) through most redemption methods.
  • There are $300 daily and $5,000 monthly sweepstakes draws.
  • You can expect to get paid around 75 cents to $3 per completed survey.

Elite Survey Site’s verdict:

Global Test Market is a rock solid survey panel with few bells and whistles. It’s worth it for you to sign up here and to take on their survey offers as they come. You won’t quit your day job doing surveys here, or on any site for that matter, but the compensation is good considering how simple the surveys are. This site is also trustworthy, so it’s well worth joining if you plan to do a ton of paid surveys.

#8 – MintVine

MintVine Paid Survey Site

MintVine is a wonderful paid survey site that’s seeing substantial growth, both in users and paid offers. It has been highlighted by many survey review sites as the top panel in 2017. We are definitely watching this one closely, and in future years they will rank higher on Elite Survey Sites if we see consistency with them.

Many love MintVine and a big reason for this is the high volume of product testing offers and focus groups. Their users have a chance to make an average of $25 to $50 per hour of time through these paid opportunities. It’s a big plus on top of what you already make doing their easy surveys. So it could pay well if you stuck it out here for the long run!

The Pros: What we really like about MintVine:

  • You can make money through more than just surveys — paid product testing and focus groups are great chances to earn, and they pay much more than the average survey.
  • You can earn even more through their ‘Local Deals‘ offers and their simple daily polls.

The Points: How much will you make at MintVine?

  • Every 1,000 points is worth $10, so each point is worth a penny.
  • On average, you can expect to make around $1 to $3 per completed survey.

Elite Survey Site’s verdict:

It will be interesting to see how big MintVine can get. Right now everyone is rushing to sign up there and there’s still a steady flow of paid surveys. There have also been many other paid offers sent to their newly active user base. We highly recommend that you join here and take on any paid offer as it comes (they pay very well). Keep your eyes on this site, because it could suddenly have an explosive growth of work availability in soon time.

#9 – Harris Poll Online

Harris Poll Online Paid Survey Site

Harris Poll had withdrawal issues at the start of 2017 but this has rectified in recent months. This panel has long-been one of the best online. They always had great reviews in the past and the recent complaints should stop you from signing up here.

This company was acquired by Nielsen Holdings in 2014 for $116.6 million. They had a reported revenue of $6.3 billion in 2014, making them one of the largest and most legitimate market research companies worldwide.

The Pros: What we really like about Harris Poll Online:

  • There are many fun ways to earn and redeem points, and you might even get a focus group invite so it’s worth having an active account here.
  • If you’re in North America, you only need to be 13 years old to join.

The Points: How much will you make at Harris Poll Online?

  • Every 1,250 HiPoints is worth $10, which makes every point worth an eight of a penny.
  • You get approximately 50 cents to $2 per completed survey.
  • There’s a $10,000 quarterly draw (one winner), a monthly sweepstakes, and a Spin to Win sweepstakes, so you have many ways to score a big bonus.

Elite Survey Site’s verdict:

Harris Poll is an old-time survey site that was once on top. Now they are still respected and generally trusted. However, the amount of paid offers on here has reduced a fair bit compared to when they were one of the best. In a best case scenario, you might get two to five surveys a week on here now … so it can take a while to really grow your balance here.

Join Harris Poll and Start Earning!

#10 – Paid Viewpoint

Paid Viewpoint Survey Site

Paid Viewpoint, like MintVine, is one of those under-rated survey sites that’s starting to see new growth. The site was created by the same company that owns and operates InstantCashSweepstakes.com which is another legitimate site to earn cash through. It awards $50 daily and $2 every four hours to sweepstakes winners.

On Paid Viewpoint, you simply get compensated for completing paid surveys. There are also small rewards for completing profile surveys, answering mini polls, and more.

The Pros: What we really like about Paid Viewpoint:

  • There are many daily surveys with one or two questions that pay a handful of pennies, so you’ll always be able to make at least a little when you sign in.
  • The referral program is interesting, and it pays very well if you can get at least 100 friends to join.

The Points: How much will you make at Paid Viewpoint?

  • Answer all the Trait Score questions to earn even more.
  • You get paid in cash, and you earn at least a cent or two per answered question.
  • You can make up to $25 per referred friend.

Elite Survey Site’s verdict:

Paid Viewpoint is a simple, easy and fun paid survey site that’s worth having an account at if you’re a regular panelist. They don’t have many offers right yet, but if they start to grow it will be a good place to work at on a regular basis. Registering here is simple and you’ll also get a $1 signup bonus to kick-start your earnings.

Paid Survey Site FAQs

There are many questions that people have about making money online. Even the most advanced survey review site fails to answer at least a few. We don’t want you to have any misinformation. If there’s something basic or complex you’re wondering, comment below and we’ll help you out.

For now, we’re going to cover some common questions that we feel are worth answering …

What are the best survey apps?

There are many survey sites that have their own app. From the list of the 10 best survey sites this year, the following panels have their own app: Swagbucks, Inbox Dollars, Toluna.

Are there other money making apps?

There are many apps that make you money if you use them right. Most are set up like Swagbucks and Inbox Dollars, where you can get paid for doing more than just surveys. You can review our list: Best Money Making Apps of 2017 to see which other ones are worth installing right now.

Which are the best surveys for money?

You can’t make the most by sticking to one survey site. Shop around for the best-paying surveys on any given day from multiple sites that you’ve joined. Our top 10 list here gives you two handfuls of panels worth joining, so you won’t ever have a shortage of places where you can earn.

Are there legitimate surveys and how do they pay?

Most survey sites pay out via PayPal, check, physical gift cards, virtual gift cards, merchandise, and/or charitable donations. Bitcoin payments have not become the standard just yet, but given the ability to perform micro-transactions at a low cost this could change in time. Of course, you can always cash out via Amazon gift cards and order products for people through Purse.io’s service in exchange for bitcoins.

Which ‘get paid to’ sites reward you for doing legitimate surveys?

There are many get-paid-to programs that compensate you for doing surveys. We noted the most popular ones already, which are Swagbucks, Inbox Dollars, and Fusion Cash. However, there are still a few other get-paid-to sites that pay moderately well but they just aren’t as active.

Which paid survey sites offer focus groups too?

Many of the top-10 paying survey sites listed here offer focus group invitations to their most loyal users. From this list, we can confirm that focus groups are held on at least a semi-regular basis at the following survey sites: Swagbucks, Inbox Dollars, Toluna, Pinecone Research.
