Most of the complaints relate to the Internet Meter hardware which has to be installed. One irate member reported that when his download speed dropped from 250mbps, to 8mbps, he could not figure out what happened. He was paying for 250mbps on contract, so he got a technician out to check his pc, and when the tech guy unplugged the meter, the speed was restored.

The people whose computer systems were compatible with the Internet Meter, were prepared to put up with a slower browsing speed, for the sake of an easy way to earn some extra cash. They were also happy with the main aspects of the Digital Reflection site, such as payments, cash outs, and support when needed.

The major complaints related to users whose computer systems were very adversely affected, which rendered them almost unusable. Many of the users were making their livings online, and the issues caused serious disruptions to their daily activities.

These users questioned why, when registering and filling out the questionnaire to see if their Internet connection was compatible with that of Digital Reflection, the result was usually positive, or they would not have been able to register.
